As you see, there are many patterns to choose from and some of them can be a little bit tricky if you are not that experienced.
Simple hat knitting patterns in stockinette stitch, rib and garter stitch, bulky yarn chunky knit hats, slouchy beanies, berets, normal beanies and more. This hat is great for those with the slightly larger than average head. This pattern isn't suitable for beginners, but this type of hat is the very simplest that can be made: I tend to think of beginner patterns as avoiding knitting in the round, any stitches beyond knit and purl, and minimal shaping.
