It is based on a pattern by priscilla hewitt, and the original pattern contains more rounds. This granny square has four smaller openwork squares connected together with an edging to make a larger square. The sunburst granny square blanket!!
It took me a few rows to get the hang of the pattern, since i haven't crocheted lace before, but once i did the directions were easy to read.
